Trail Rides
Our standard trail rides are 1 hour. We ride through painted fields of wildflowers, alongside the Trinity River, and through great oak groves under the Texas sun.
Trail rides are $80 per person for a 1-hour guided ride. You can add our authentic Texas BBQ brisket dinner for just $27 more per person.
Just yourself! Wear close-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring a water bottle. All saddles, equipment, and cowboy hats are provided.
Yes — when you register, you'll receive the waiver from us ahead of your visit.
Yes! BYOB is welcome, or we can arrange it for you beforehand — just let us know and we'll include it in your package cost.
Food is an optional add-on. Add our authentic Texas BBQ dinner for just $27 per person. Our hand-picked grill masters cook fresh right on the property.
Absolutely. Each horse is hand-selected to match your skill level and personality. Our guides are careful, attentive, and experienced with riders of all abilities.
Riding Lessons
Private lessons are $60 for 30 minutes. Group lessons (2–5 people) are $60 per person for 45 minutes. Our popular 4-lesson package is $240.
Yes! We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced tracks. Every new rider starts with a personal skills assessment from Gay Leigh to build the right lesson plan for you.
The $240 package includes 4 riding lessons, a complimentary skills evaluation and assessment by Gay Leigh, access to the Broken Bow Ranch community, and free horsemanship lessons (grooming, brushing, leading).
VRHS is the fastest-growing segment of the horse show industry. Gay Leigh trains riders in all 6 categories: Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Ranch Reining, Ranch Cow Work, Ranch Cutting, and Ranch Conformation.
We recommend one lesson per week so you and your horse can reap the full benefits of regular training. Consistency is the key to rapid improvement.
No. We provide horses matched to your skill level. If you have your own horse, you're welcome to bring them — Gay Leigh will assess your horse and work with you as a team.
Events & Parties
We host corporate retreats, birthday parties, family reunions, quinceañeras, and group experiences. Activities include trail rides, archery, fishing, roping, live music, and authentic Texas BBQ.
Group events start at $80 per person, which includes the trail ride, archery, fishing, roping, and all outfit trimmings. Add BBQ for $27 per person.

We're located at 1755 E. Malloy Bridge Rd, Seagoville, TX 75159 — just 25 minutes outside of central Dallas. Free parking is available on-site.

Yes! We host spring and summer camps for young riders. Campers learn to ride, fish, do archery, and build confidence and leadership skills in just five days.
Broken Bow Ranch has been around for over 150 years. The Phillips family and its ranch were an integral part of establishing horsemanship and official Texan competitions, helping organize the Stock Horse of Texas. The ranch is now led by Gay Leigh Bingham.
